Principal Dunya Shaw

For Principal Dunya Shaw, education is more than a job... it's a passion. Mrs. Shaw holds credentials from both Florida and California, and has 39 years of experience in both public and private education. She holds a degree in education from Washington Bible College and performed graduate work at UCLA. In 2004 she applied for and received for Our Savior's the U.S. Department of Education's National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award. During the 2006-2007 school year she spent countless hours working on ELEA accreditation, which the school received in November of 2008. During her years as principal of Our Savior's Lutheran School, Dunya has strived to continually improve the quality of education and to uphold Our Savior’s status as one of the best elementary schools in Orange County. Her greatest joy is watching her students become “inspired to learn and encouraged to serve.”
