New Student Registration Procedures

 

STUDENT REGISTRATION

Registration cards may be picked up at the school office Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Please complete the registration card and return it with the appropriate fee.

 

NEW STUDENTS (Elementary)

The following forms must be completed:

  • Registration Card
  • Report card from the last completed school year and current school year
  • Teacher/Preschool Recommendation Form

 

ACCEPTANCE

Kindergarten students must complete the Chancy and Bruce School Readiness Screening or other approved Kindergarten readiness test before final acceptance. You will be notified as to the status of your acceptance or conditional acceptance the second week of March.

 

ACCEPTANCE PRIORITIES

Placement in any of our classrooms is dependent upon a combination of the following priorities:

  • Application and Registration forms must be complete (front & back) and must have the appropriate fee attached
  • Siblings of enrolled elementary students
  • Students whose family are active OSLC members
  • Siblings of elementary alumni
  • Families who are committed to stay through elementary grades
  • Other students
  • Existing financial obligations are current
  • Families that register their child for kindergarten to secure a preschool spot will be asked to withdraw their preschool child if the kindergarten child drops.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

A non-refundable registration fee of $350.00 (elementary), $125.00 (junior kindergarten), $100.00 (preschool) is due along with the registration card. 

 

WAITING POOL

If a student meets all the qualifications for enrollment but there is no space available in the classroom, the student’s name will be placed in a waiting pool for that grade. A nonrefundable $25.00 wait list fee is required to be placed upon the waiting list. This fee will be applied towards the regular fee if a space becomes available.
