Of all the many reasons why your child should be at Our Savior’s, nineteen of them are at the head of our classrooms. Our faculty are among the most dedicated, caring and enthusiastic teachers of any educational facility, and an integral part of why we are a fully accredited U.S. Department of Education “No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School.”
Mrs. Jennifer Hardison
Preschool
since 2010
Mrs. Hardison is new to Our Saviors Lutheran Preschool, however, she has been a preschool teacher for 18 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University in Long Beach, and a Masters in Education from National University. She came to OSLS from a preschool in Garden Grove. She is married with two boys of her own. Please look for her in our three and four year old morning program. She will be the one welcoming you with her warm smile, and her electric enthusiasm.
Mrs. Susan Brown
Preschool
since 1995
Mrs. Brown graduated from Fullerton Community College with an A.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education. After raising her family, she returned to teaching young children. With a love for the Lord and literature, she has found a perfect professional match at Our Savior's.
Mrs. Trace Wilcox
Preschool
since 2010
Mrs. Wilcox is our new afternoon teacher. You may have seen her around campus with her three little ones, or helping out at our Vacation Bible School. We are very thrilled to welcome her to the Preschool. She had taught for 9 years, but took a few years off to raise her three adorable children. Mrs. Wilcox has a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of California in San Diego, and a Masters in Educational Administration from National University. Please come welcome her in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Mrs. Wilcox's love for children, and her active role in Our Saviors Lutheran Church have made her a ideal fit for Our Saviors Lutheran Preschool.
Miss April Riebau
Pre-Kindergarten
since 1999
Ms. Riebau completed her Early Education Certificate at Fullerton Community College. She also has obtained her AA in Human Development, and recently received her bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Since 1999 April has taught our 3-4 year-olds. For 2010-2011 she will teach our Pre-Kindergartner class. Ms. Riebau's dedication to children and zest for life has proven to be a wonderful asset to Our Savior's Lutheran Preschool. She also devotes some of her evenings to our youth program here at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Darya Levesque
Preschool Music
since 1997
Mrs. Levesque taught 2nd grade at Our Savior’s from 1997 until 2001 when she took a break from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom. During her years at home with her three young children, she taught private piano and vocal lessons, assisted her husband, Bob, at our school’s Wednesday morning chapel service, and was a vocalist for the church’s comtemporary worship band. In addition to continuing with those activities, she returned to the Our Savior’s faculty in 2008 as our preschool music teacher.
