At Our Savior’s Lutheran Preschool and Infant Center, every child deserves access to quality early education, regardless of financial circumstances. To help families manage the cost of care, the preschool partners with several subsidy programs that provide financial assistance based on eligibility.
OCDE Family Services
Through the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Family Services program, eligible families can receive subsidized child care based on income and need. This program supports working parents, students, and families seeking employment, ensuring children have access to safe and enriching early learning environments.
Children’s Home Society (CHS)
CHS offers a Child Care Payment Program that assists income-eligible families by covering a portion or all of their child care costs. Families remain responsible for selecting their provider, while CHS helps manage payments directly to the preschool. This program is designed to support parents who are working, in school, or participating in job training.
Child Care Aware (CCA) – Military Families
Child Care Aware of America partners with the Department of Defense to provide fee assistance for military families through programs like MCCYN (Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood). Eligible Navy families can receive financial support to offset the cost of quality child care when on-base care is unavailable.
CalWORKs Child Care Program
The CalWORKs program provides subsidized child care for families participating in California’s welfare-to-work program. It helps parents transition to stable employment or education by covering child care expenses during training, job search, and employment.
